SXSW 2010: Jaill at Trailer Trash Records (3/18/10)
This type of show is the thing SXSW is made of. About 20 people crammed into a hot, tiny record store that was really far away from all the other shows to see a band that not enough people are caring about right now. Thrown by the great people of Burger Records (who, by now, you should own their entire catalog), this was a great show whether or not people where there. Great, simple, and catchy garage rock by four guys, with nothing fancy behind it. It was just the pure essence of what the genre was (no that is not cheesey), and was in a very fitting place to boot. I picked up Jaill's debut on cassette, and for those of you who don't know, the band has already inked a deal with Sub Pop. Congrats to them.

There's No Sky is such a great record. Can't wait to hear their next LP.
